PCO Inc. Introduces New H-Series MPEG-4 Systems

PCO Inc. today released its new H-Series line of hardware based MPEG-4 Digital Video Recording systems. The PC based DVR, available in 12 and 24 channel models, supports 30 pictures per second (PPS) recording at 4 CIF on all channels.
The new H-Series systems offer a powerful hardware compression engine, progressive scan real-time live viewing, and files sizes smaller than MJPEG recorders which allows for increased internal data storage. With audio inputs and looping outputs for each channel, up to 6 BNC and a DVI spot monitor output, the
PCO Inc. H-Series DVR is designed as an enterprise level security system.
Built with premium hard drives that are designed specifically to withstand the wear and tear of high volume usage, H-Series DVRs can be configured with storage capacities up to 2.5 TB. To ensure long-term reliability, the chassis used for H-Series DVRs has been carefully designed to accommodate the heat generated by larger drive arrays and the strains of a 24-hour a day runtime environment. The secure hard drive bay is accessible from the front of the DVR and features five removable hard drives.
PCO Inc. H-Series systems utilize the same server software interface as Xr-Series and X-Series DVRs and are fully compatible with all software upgrades and support applications including: IQ-Series video analytics, RediWatch (point of sale integration), Access Control solutions, standard and Radius multi-site remote software, Emergency Agent (alarm notification software), and MDVR (remote mobile device software).
