PCO Introduces New X and Xr Series Recorders

May 18, 2007
Spokane, WA

PCO has announced the release of its next generation X and Xr series digital recorders. Both series are housed in a newly designed black chassis which is specifically created to improve airflow and reduce the overall internal temperature.

The Xr series, which supports 5 removable hard drives, is available in models up to 480 pictures per second (PPS) and models supporting up to 32 video inputs. A 32 channel expansion board is also available to add 32 video looping outputs. In addition, RAID 5, which protects against the loss of video, is also available as an internal option.

The X-Series chassis, whose size has been reduced from a 4U to a 3U, is available in models up to 240 PPS and models supporting up to 16 video inputs. The X Series is designed primarily for typical installations that don’t require high storage capacities or a large number of video inputs.

Both the new X and Xr-Series DVRs will run the same server software and be compatible with all existing remote software applications, video analytics, point of sales integration solutions, and access control systems.

Both series provide a wide range of features that make them an ideal solution for nearly every type of installation. Both include Alarm inputs, relay outputs, health check options, detailed scheduling, advanced search options, numerous backup and export options, support of network cameras, detailed administrative options, and many more.
