PCO Introduces Video Analytics Solution for Xr/X-Series DVRs and NVRs

PCO, Inc. has introduced a new video analytics solution for its X-Series and Xr-Series PC Based DVRs and NVRs. Working in cooperation with iOmniscient Corporation,
PCO has integrated iOmniscient’s IQ-Series video analytics software with its own server software.
Several different versions of the video analytics solution will be available, offering detection of events such as: slip and fall, abandoned object, loitering, incorrect direction, object theft, running, parking violation, vandalism, over crowding, and perimeter intrusion. Users can trigger alarms, recording, or perform custom searches based on video analytics detected events.
Video Analytics is a powerful video security technology which analyzes video in real time to detect suspicious events. The use of video analytics in conjunction with
PCO’s DVRs allows a DVR to act as a proactive and preventative tool - improving the quality and effectiveness of video surveillance. It is
