PC Open Launches Online Education Center

SPOKANE, WASH. – January 27, 2005 – PC Open, Inc. announced today the official
launching of an online Education and Certification Center for its OpenEye security
division. This new site contains numerous technical documents, video tutorials,
training presentations and more designed to educate PC Open clients about OpenEye
Digital Products.
“As our products have become increasingly advanced we recognized the need for a
forward-thinking online training system.” said Jean Swatzell, CTO. “Our training team
and web development teams have responded to this need and we’ve already had a fantastic
initial response.” he added.
The Education Center is designed as a curriculum with two distinct areas. The
first is the Basic Training area designed primarily for End Users and Integrators / Resellers
to learn how to use the product more effectively. The second is the Advanced Training area
which focuses on more technically involved concepts related to maintenance and sales.
In addition, when a course has been completed users may take tests which can earn them
PC Open certifications. “Integrators/Resellers who earn certificates will qualify to
receive an increased number of leads and referrals from PC Open. It is important to us
that our products be represented by knowledgeable companies.” Said Brent Gable, Director of Sales.
The program was officially launched on January 15th. The Education Center is now an integral
part of the OpenEye Partner Site which has been constructed to provide online access to extensive
technical information, training, software and marketing materials.
