PCO was founded upon the goal of becoming one of the world’s most admired
custom IT solution design and manufacturing businesses. Since its formation,
PCO has remained focused on PC-based technologies and has become the
Northwest’s largest manufacturer of custom servers for the Security,
Information Technology, & Network Storage Industries. Since 2000 PCO’s
design and development teams primarily focused on creating a truly
innovative platform of digital video recording and management systems.
PCO released its first digital video recording (DVR) product in 2000.
The system was arguably the World’s first capable of recording up to 120
images per second. This system was a success for PCO and inspired the
development of a new model capable of recording up to 240 images per second.
The 240ips platform was officially released in the fall of 2001 and remained
PCO’s number one video product through the end of 2003. In early 2004 PCO yet again surprised the industry when it released a next generation
480ips platform based upon a combination of MPEG4 & proprietary technology.
In 2001 PCO began selectively establishing strategic OEM partnerships
with a limited number of the World’s largest and most renowned corporations.
Each of these companies brought a strong brand name and an established
channel of distribution to the partnership. By leveraging each OEM partner’s
marketing and sales wherewithal PCO has been able to focus its attention
almost exclusively on the design, development, manufacture, and support of
its technologies. As a result of this concentrated effort PCO has
successfully remained atop one of the most rapidly advancing industries in
the world.
While PCO was making astounding progress as a leading manufacturer in
the Security industry it also continued to advance its position as the
Northwest’s largest manufacturer of custom server technology. From network
attached storage devices to fully redundant mission critical file servers,
PCO’s IT computing group has consistently delivered value driven
products of the highest quality. These cutting edge systems are resold by
companies such as MCPC () and are ultimately utilized by high
technology organizations such as the University of Idaho ().
Today, PCO remains committed to the advancement of its current
technologies but continues to evaluate emerging market opportunities. PCO’s resolve to create a truly next generation network video recording and
alarm management system is just one example of its dedication to being
market driver. To further concentrate its efforts on network video recording
and alarm management technologies PCO founded Securgen ()
in 2003. Securgen currently operates out of PCO’s corporate office in
Spokane.
Whether you are a potential customer, key supplier, or otherwise a strategic
partner you may be assured PCO was built upon a foundation of enduring
principals and values. PCO is dedicated to the satisfaction of all its
partners. It achieves this objective by encouraging all employees to perform
their duties to the best of their ability, and by providing them with all
the necessary support. PCO recognizes that its people are its greatest
asset and thus treats them as such. As a result, its people are highly
motivated and care deeply about PCO and its customers/ strategic
partners.
